Expectant Goddess

I’ve been having a fun time making work for a short exhibition to mark International Women’s Day. Called ‘Celebrating The Goddess’, it’s to be held at The Woodshed studio and gallery on The Bail steps in Folkestone (just off The Old High Street) on the 7th & 8th March.

As part of a women’s collective (see details on the Exhibitions page) I’ve been making little goddess heads so small they can lay in the palm of your hand, looking up at you enigmatically! I’ve also made a Legless Goddess, and Expectant Goddess, plus two ‘Vengeful Goddess’ kiln fused glass plates. I’ll be showing these, and a couple of goddess themed paintings. Other members of the collective will be showing paintings, prints, ceramics, jewellery and more.

The gallery will be open 12 - 5 pm on both days. Do come along if you can, it should be great fun!
